About Me
Guangming Luo is dedicated to the evolution of microservices architecture, architecture governance, traffic governance, and observability — with hands-on experience driving large-scale production deployments. An open-source enthusiast with practical experience in open-source project governance, community operations, and technology brand building.
🏢 Open Source & Community
CloudWeGo Lead Maintainer — Responsible for incubation, compliance, community governance, developer ecosystem, website development, tech evangelism, and branding. Led the project’s growth from 0 to 1 and beyond.
Cloud Native Community Co-founder — Co-building the dissemination and exchange of cloud-native technologies among Chinese-speaking developers.
Awards: 2022 OSCAR Peak Open Source Person and 2022 Chinese Open Source Pioneer (Top 33), recognized by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology.
💼 Experience
Former Baidu Technical Expert — Led the R&D of microservices governance features for the Cloud Native Microservices Application Platform, contributed to open-source projects in the cloud-native microservices domain, and managed content for Baidu’s cloud-native tech media matrix.
